Interns & Volunteers in Belgium with MSF
We do not recruit volunteers or interns to go on assignments in our projects: all international mobile employees work under contract. If you are interested in working abroad with MSF, you can find all the information on our "Work with MSF internationally” page.
InternsHIPS
MSF Belgium welcomes interns for compulsory internships that are part of a study programme. The internship is unpaid.
The conditions of the internship are as follows:
- Mandatory tripartite internship agreement (school or academic institution - intern - MSF)
- Duration of the internship according to the agreement (maximum 6 months)
- Based in Brussels* (*Due to legal administrative constraints, future interns must already reside in Belgium with the right to stay and study in Belgium within a Belgian study establishment; or reside in Europe as part of studies in a European study establishment (accepting that the internship is carried out in another European country), have a right of residence and study in Europe and be ready to move and find accommodation in Belgium for the duration of the internship at their own expense)
Don’t hesitate to send your CV & Motivation Letter to our Intern responsible, Ms. Camille Dumonceau camille.dumonceau@brussels.msf.org in case you meet the above mentioned criteria.

Volunteers
If you would like to support MSF in other ways than financially by giving your time, we would be delighted to welcome you as a volunteer in our Brussels office.
Our volunteers work mainly in the administrative field and have a well-defined and essential role for MSF, working on a regular basis on specific tasks.
We also use qualified translators who work from home, as well as interpreters.
Before applying, please check that your administrative status allows you to carry out a volunteer activity (being unemployed, on early retirement, or on sick leave implies specific authorizations and a specific framework in accordance with the Belgian law on Volunteering).
In case you are interested, please send your CV & motivation letter to Ms. Anne Lepori Caillon, responsible for the volunteers at anne.lepori.caillon@brussels.msf.org.
